Bedec Multi Surface Clear Varnish (MSV)

MSV is a cutting-edge, transparent polyurethane toughened acrylic varnish.  

Its unique formula is comprised of a water-based interior varnish, manufactured on an acrylic resin, reinforced with Polyurethane. Precisely engineered, it does not embrittle with ageing. Available in a series of different finishes and sizes to help you find the ideal aesthetic, while minimising waste. Bedec’s Multi Surface Varnish has been designed to be applied to most interior substrates including wood, non-ferrous metals, and most types of plastic. It is suitable for use on paintwork, wallpaper, fabric, interior wood and plasterwork.

  1. Surfaces must be sound, clean dry and free from wax grease and oil.
  2. Remove all dust and loose particles.
  3. On existing painted surfaces, remove all loose and flaking paint and thoroughly rub down with an abrasive.


  1. Stir thoroughly before use.
  2. Apply by brush, roller or spray.
  3. Leave to dry for at least 4 hours before applying the second coat. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.)

On hardwood and porous surfaces, it is recommended that an initial well-thinned coat be applied. (Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.)

Do not apply at temperatures below 8ºC, or when raining or foggy.

Coverage Approximately 15-20sq. metres/litre. depending on porosity and texture of the substrate.
Drying Normally 2 hours @ 18º Centigrade and 65% humidity
Second Coat Application After 4 hours.
Flash Point Not applicable.
Clean up

Warm soapy water.
