Our returns policy
We hope you love everything you buy from AllFinishes, but we completely understand that sometimes you might need to return part or all of your order. Unless the incorrect item has been received or items have arrived damaged, we are only able to process refunds on items which are returned to us in an unused and resalable condition. Please note that we require all discrepancies with your delivery to be reported within 28 days.
If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return the unused product to us within 28 days of purchase for a full refund. We strongly recommend ordering a tester pot or colour swatch to check suitability before buying larger volumes of paint. Return shipping on unwanted items will be charged at £5 and deducted from any refund. Please note that if you have had the product tinted to a bespoke colour, or you have purchased a tinted product, this will be non-returnable.
Incorrect Item received
Our dispatching processes involves multiple checks to make sure you receive exactly what you ordered. If something has gone awry, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll arrange for the incorrect item to be collected, and the correct product to be sent out to you on our next day delivery service.
Damage in transit
We take every precaution to minimise the chance of damage in transit — but sometimes these things happen. The worse-case scenario will usually be some slight denting to the tin, meaning the product itself is still completely usable. Please contact us immediately if you come across any serious damage, making your product unusable. You are well within your rights to expect your product to arrive to you completely undamaged, so should you receive an order from AllFinishes in anything less than perfect condition and you would like an exchange, just get in touch via phone or email as soon as possible after the order is received so we can arrange this for you.
To arrange the return, just send an email with your order number to email@example.com or call our customer services team on 03333 208570. You’ll need to repackage your item carefully, and our courier will collect from you to return to us at our head office. We’ll email over a returns label for you to print and attach to the package, and let you know when to expect the courier.
Who pays the Returns Costs?
We will cover the cost of return shipping if the incorrect item was received or the product arrived damaged. If you are returning unused items because you’ve changed your mind, this will be charged at £5.
I've Tried the Paint but I'm not Happy with how it Looks. Can I Still Return it?
Unless there is an issue with the product, we are unable to refund products once they have been used. We would suggest ordering a small tester size before buying the full amount of paint required. If you’re unable to find a sample size on the website, please get in touch with our customer service team who will be able to help.
