The innovative net structure of 7500 sianet CER enables dust-free sanding, partnered with industry-leading abrasive performance from its ceramic aluminium oxide grain.
The ceramic abrasive grain provides a high removal rate and gives each disc a longer lifespan because it works extremly efficiently. On the surface of the sianet disc the ceramic abrasive grit is bonded to a highly flexible, woven polyester fibre net that is strong and durable. sia Abrasive’s hook and loop systems makes the disc fast and efficient to fit and remove, yet stable throughout use. All of these factors help the 7500 Sianet disc to boast a longer, more effective lifespan.
When used with dust extraction equipment, sianet ceramic discs produce a virtually dust free work environment due to the open back net structure that removes dust quickly and efficiently. The open net structure reduces clogging of the abrasive, vastly extending the abrasives working life and helping you achieve the desired finish more easily.
The discs are particularly suited to sanding high density surface materials. We recommend using them for abrading bare, and previously painted, wood, MDF, plaster and solid surfaces.

Grit Type
Grit Type | From | To | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Coarse | 40 | 80 | Coarse grit sandpaper is a good choice for rough sanding and removing stock quickly, such as sanding the edge of a sticking door with a belt sander. |
Medium | 100 | 150 | Medium grit sandpaper makes a good starting point for most projects, from sanding unfinished wood to removing old varnish. |
Fine | 180 | 240 | Finer grit sandpaper is great for removing the scratches left by coarser grits on unfinished wood and for lightly sanding between coats of paint. |
Very Fine | 320 | 400 | Very fine grit sandpaper is used for light sanding between coats of finish and to sand metal and other hard surfaces. |
