Bona Mega EVO™ enhances performance in less time. Its innovative self-crosslinking capacity ensures quicker floor drying after and between applications, minimising potential damage and enabling a faster return to normal use.

Return to normality Sooner: Bona Mega EVO’s unique crosslinking technology enables a faster return to the floor and shorter waiting times compared to other 1-component lacquers. With its fast-drying properties, the topcoat is safe for early use.
Speedier Drying Time Between Coats: The ingenious self-crosslinking technology for Bona Mega EVO™ also enables quicker drying times between applications. This means that the next topcoat layer can be applied much sooner than with traditional polymer technology. With excellent sanding ability, the treatment process is faster than ever.

Healthier Working Environment Bona Mega EVO™ contributes to a healthier working and living environment, surpassing current legislative regulations, and preparing for stricter legislation in the future. As PFAS is phased out and emissions are reduced, Bona Mega EVO™ enhances working conditions and indoor air quality for contractors and end users.
Phasing out PFAS PFAS substances are man-made chemicals used in various products, including non-stick cookware, food packaging, rainwear, and firefighting foam. They pose health concerns as they do not decompose in the environment or in the human body. While previously used in minimal quantities to improve the levelling properties of our lacquers, Bona Mega EVO™ now phases out PFAS with safer and more sustainable components.
Improved Indoor Air Quality Reducing volatile organic compound (VOC) levels is crucial for maintaining a healthy indoor environment. Bona already offers products with lower VOC levels, and now with Bona Mega EVO™, we go further. Having VOC levels below 3% fulfils the EMICODE EC1PLUS certification, the highest and strictest classification for indoor air quality, ensuring compliance with stringent health and environmental requirements.

The topcoat cures to a clear, non-yellowing film, making it ideal for all types of wood floors. Bona Mega EVO’s resistance to wear, chemicals, and scratches ensures the floor surface maintains its beauty for many years.

Non-yellowing Properties Bona Mega EVO™ has non-yellowing properties, meaning the cured coating remains clear over time and does not amber like traditional lacquers or oils. The new self-crosslinking technology minimises odour during the application process.
No Need for Primer Bona Mega EVO™ can be combined with any Bona wood primer to enhance the wood floor's colouration. As Bona Mega EVO™ has insignificant reaction with tannins in wood, using a primer is unnecessary.

EXCELLENT RESSISTANCE PERFORMANCE

Wear Resistance Thanks to the unique self-crosslinking technology, Bona Mega EVO™ delivers excellent wear resistance for medium wear floors. This topcoat is suitable for a wide range of applications, including domestic wood floors and wood floors in lightly used commercial areas.
Scratch Resistance Scratch resistance is essential for a durable topcoat. Bona Mega EVO’s unique self-crosslinking technology achieves superb performance in this regard, keeping floors smooth for extended periods.
Scuff Resistance With high scuff resistance, Bona Mega EVO™ helps shield wood floors from shoe-induced marks, ensuring a worry-free and enduring floor life.
