Surface Preparation
- Clean, Dry, Frost-Free: Ensure wood is clean, dry, and frost-free.
- Application Readiness: Osmo Garden Colour is ready to use; do not thin.
- Stir Well: Stir well before use.
- Sanding: Clean and sand old finishes, removing damaged areas.
Method of Application
- Tool Options: Use Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller.
- Application: Apply thinly and quickly on clean, dry wood along the grain or use a spray application.
- Drying Time: Leave to dry for 3-4 hours under good ventilation.
- Sanding Between Coats: Fine sanding may be needed between coats. For a great finish, we recommend using sia.
- Renovations: For renovations, one coat is usually sufficient.
Care
- Regular Cleaning: Damp cleaning with diluted Osmo Decking Cleaner using Osmo Decking Cleaning Brush.
- Occasional Maintenance: Use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel or Osmo Gard Clean (for green growth) if needed.
- Recoating: Simply reapply one coat onto the clean, dry surface when signs of wear appear.

- Wood Characteristics: The finished surface is influenced by various factors, requiring a trial application for unfamiliar surfaces.
- Weathering: Certain wood species may contain water-soluble extractives that weather naturally.
