Surface Preparation

• Clean, Dry, Frost-Free: Ensure wood is clean, dry, and frost-free.
• Ready to Use: Osmo Primer is ready to use; stir well before application.
• Old Finishes: Remove old paints, varnishes, or lacquers completely.
• Sanding: Clean old microporous stains thoroughly; wear a dust mask during sanding.
• Additional Protection: Pre-treat wood with Osmo WR Base Coat for extra protection.

Method of Application

• Tool Options: Use Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller.
• Application: Apply thinly with the grain on clean, dry wood, if possible, on all sides, and spread evenly.

Please Note

• Top Coat Recommendation: For the top coat, Osmo Country Colour or Osmo Garden Colour in white or light colours is recommended.
• Wood Characteristics: The finished surface is influenced by various factors, requiring a trial application for unfamiliar surfaces.

Care

• Regular Cleaning: Damp cleaning with diluted Osmo Decking Cleaner using Osmo Decking Cleaning Brush.

• Recoating: Simply reapply one coat onto the clean, dry surface when signs of wear appears.
