Renner YL-M543 White Primer
RENNER YL-M543 IS A WHITE SINGLE-PACK WATERBASED PRIMER FOR INTERIOR USE.
YL-M543 is the perfect basecoat for use underneath pigmented water-based topcoats. Ready for use as a single-pack product. Being fast drying, it will give excellent filling properties, even colour and good sanding.
Please note, next-day delivery and paid pre-12 delivery is not guaranteed on this product. Depending on how busy the lab is, orders may take up to 2-3 working days. To increase the likelihood of next-day delivery and paid pre-12 delivery, orders for bespoke colours (inlcuding grey primers) must be placed by 11am to assist the lab.
Areas of Use
It is perfect for working on MDF and Masonite on projects such as flat pats, frames, baseboards and doors. Not ideal for high spec kitchens.

Preparation
We suggest 240 - 320 grit abrasives. For best result, use stearate abrasives. They provide higher efficiency than normal abrasives. Ensure the surface is completely clean of debris before coating. See our pages for suitable abrasives for water-based products.
Application
With good drying conditions and with good air circulation (20°C with 65% humidity), build can be achieved with just 2 to 3 coats. Each coat of 80 - 200 G/M² with an interval of 25 mins. Under these circumstances it can be sanded after 1 hour. Lower temperatures and higher relative humidity can lead to a longer drying time. It is possible to speed up drying using heated ovens.
Aftercare
YL M543 can be overcoated with any of the pigmented Renner Waterborne Topcoats.
