Rio Verde Wax Effect Stain is designed for exterior wooden doors, windows and garden furniture. It dries to a natural waxy matt translucent finish and is soft to the touch. It will give the surface good water repellence, and is ideal for bringing a new lease of life to existing or new wooden structures.

Sand with SIA 6120 siafleece handpads 150-180 grit and remove dust.
Clean surface to remove contaminants prior to applying. Ensure surface is stable, firm and free of dust, sand, loose old paint etc.
Shake the tin prior to application.
Check the colour by conducting a test area.
Natural & Stained finishes can be achieved.
It's possible to apply Wax Effect Wood Stain on wood treated with dyes or low build stains.
Clean the surface.
It can be lightly sanded with abrasive paper or SIA 6120 siafleece handpads.
Remove the dust and apply 1-2 coats of product.
On wood already painted with finished products in good condition, it is necessary to sand with 320 grit. Clean the surface and proceed with painting. Remove the dust and apply 1-2 coats of product.
On wood already painted with finishing products in poor condition, sand with SIA 6120 siafleece handpads 80-150 grit to restore the wood to its raw state. Clean the surface and proceed with painting.
It is recommended to apply 1-2 coats of classic Impregnating RMxx10 before the RCxx30 finish.
Lightly sand with SIA 6120 sia fleece handpads 220-320. Remove the dust and apply a coat of the desired colour. A second coat can be applied to the most degraded parts.
Wipe gently with a soft cloth or sponge.
