Preparation
Before you apply Liberon Stone Floor Sealer, its recommended that you clean the surface free from any dirt and dust as this may alter the final result. For the best results, you can clean the floor using Liberon Stone Floor Cleaner. Rinse and allow the area to dry thoroughly before applying the Natural Finish Stone floor sealer as your final top coat.
Application
Before you apply Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer, apply a healthy amount using a paint brush and allow to dry for one hour.
Thoroughly check surface to see if the surface is sealed, to test this, drop a small amount on the surface and check to see if the water sits on the surface.
Leave for around 10-15 minutes, and if the water remains on the surface, then you have applied enough sealer. If the water seems to soak into the stone, then you may need to apply further coats.
Keep repeating the application and test the area of the surface until the surface is properly sealed. Natural Stone Floor Sealer only requires one coat, but depending on the porosity of the stone, it may need a few more for the best results in sealing your stone flooring.
Allow the final coat of your sealer to dry for 25 hours before your resume using the floor.
Aftercare
Clean with Liberon Stone Floor Cleaner when its required.
To see if your floor is still optimised for protection and is sealed proper, carry out the water test at least once a year and reapply the application process when necessary.
