Before you use Liberon Professional Hard Wax Oil, you must ensure that the surface is bare, clean and dry.
Firstly, sand the surface and clean it from any dirt, grease or any other surface contaminant. Remove any dust that may have been left behind using general cleaning tool or a clean lint-free cloth.
Stir the formula well before the application process, ensure the solution is thoroughly mixed before and during the application.
For the best results using this product, it is highly recommended you apply the hardwax in temperatures between 12 and 25°C and out of the wind.
Before applying Liberon Professional hardwax Oil, ensure you have the area well ventilated for your own health and safety. We can recommend using Moldex mask respirators for the ultimate protection.
Before you apply the application it’s important to test out the product on a spare surface area to check the colour and the compatibility.
To apply Liberon Professional Hard Wax Oil, you must apply in thin regular coats with large paint brushes or a lacquer roller.
Allow the hardwax oil to fully absorb into the surface of the wood for approximately five minutes.
Polish and wipe off any excess oil that may have been left during the application with a clean cloth.
Allow the surfaces to dry between 8 to 10 hours before the action of the second coat.
Allow to dry fully for around 24 hours before using the treated surface.
For coloured hard wax oils, follow the same application process but apply a single coat of the selected colours followed by one coat of natural hard wax oil as a top coat.
To maintain the surface, treat the surface with a slightly moist mop.
Rejuvenate by re-applying Professional Hard Wax Oil with a cotton cloth.
