Liberon Floor Sealer is a natural based product. Oil-based finish for wood, parquet and other types of wooden flooring. The Floor Sealer enhances the natural wooden characteristics of new and old wood. The formula creates a barrier against liquids like water, alcohol resistant. You can use Liberon Floor Sealer for sealing unvarnished cork surfaces.

Sand the floor area if required to do so and ensure you remove all previous finishes that may have been on the surface.
If you have sanded the floor, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from any dust that may be lingering on the surface to allow the Liberon Floor Sealer to take action.
It’s important to understand that oil finishes bring out natural characteristics of the timber and other wooden surfaces. Wet surfaces will give you an indication to analyse what the final colour could turn out to look like if oil was to be applied.
Always test the product first on a small section of wood to see if the colour and end result is something you want to achieve.
Use only in well- ventilated areas.
Before applying Liberon Floor Sealer, if you are wanting to add a colour to the wood beforehand we can recommend using Liberon Palette Wood Dye. Suitable for dying and adding colour to all interior wood work around the home. The wood dye is designed to leave the wood grains visible to hold the natural beauty within the wood. Allow all wood dyes to dry for a minimum of 8 hours before applying your Liberon Floor Sealer.
Do not use this product on vinyl or similar material floor coverings.
Using this product may dissolve bitumen-based adhesives.
Repeat exposure to this product may cause skin to crack and dry, please wear gloves before using this product to ensure your health and safety.
Shake the contents of the container well before using the product.
Apply a healthy amount of sealer on the surface using a brush, roller or lint-free cloth depending on what you feel comfortable with and the scale of the project.
Allow around 5-10 minutes for the oil to penetrate the wooden surface.
Remove any excess using a dry and clean lint-free cloth.
It’s recommended to apply a minimum of 3 coats in total and allowing 5 hours gap between coats.
Repeat this process if you have to use Liberon Floor Sealer on porous surfaces, or if you are aiming to achieve a higher and more intense finish.
We can recommend using Liberon Floor Wax or Liberon High Resistance Varnish after using Liberon Floor Sealer. Please ensure you leave around 24 hours before applying any other finish on top of the Floor Sealer.
All surfaces which you have applied Liberon Floor Sealer on should always be swept, and vacuumed to maintain the final look and longevity. Any spills should be care for immediately.
If you come across any tough stains, you can apply a mild detergent. Alternatively, you can always sand the area lightly to remove the stain and then repeat the application process of the Floor Sealer.
When using Floor Sealer alone as a floor finish, you may need to re-seal the surface once a year or if you see signs of high traffic.
If you have used cloths, please dispose of them carefully. Lay them out flat outside to dry, failing to do so may cause a fire hazard, causing the cloths to self-combust.
Do not leave impregnated cloths in bundles and near any fire ignition.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not empty this product out into drains.
