Liberon Colour Enhancer Stone Floor Sealer is the ideal product for sealing and protecting the interior stone work of your flooring. It can be used on stone such as terracotta, slate, quarry tiles, York and other similar types of porous stone flooring.
The base formulation is made up of linseed oil, Liberon Stone Floor Sealer creates a layer on the surface which allows a barrier to form, creating a surface resistance to water, drinks and general food spillages.
Liberon Stone Floor Sealer helps to reduce dusting and crumbing to the stone while providing an enhancement to natural colours of the stone.

Its advised you check the whether before you apply this product to see if it requires sealing by putting several drops of water onto the surface.
Leave for the mini test for around 10 minutes to analyse if the water is absorbed into the stone, and see if a sealer is required. If it’s necessary to do so, clean the surface with Stone Floor Cleaner.
Rinse and allow to dry thoroughly before applying the Stone Floor Sealer.
Oil finishes bring out the natural colours of stone, you are wanting to preview what an oil finish could potentially look like, then wet surface using water is a good indicator.
Always carry out a test section of the stone surface to see if the product is compatible and the result you are aiming to achieve.
When applying this product, ensure you allow plenty of ventilation. Wear suitable clothing.
Shake the contents well before using this product.
Apply Stone Floor Sealer using either a brush or a clean lint-free cotton cloth and allow the sealer to penetrate the surface for 10 minutes.
Remove the excess with a clean lint-free cloth and allow the surface to fully dry for a minimum of 8 hours.
To check the surface in an acceptable standard and analyse if the surface is completely sealed, you want to drop a small amount of water onto the surface.
Leave for around 10-15 minutes and if the water remains to sit on the surface, then you have applied enough sealer.
If the water test fails and the water seems to sink into the stone, then you may need to apply further coats to the stone surface.

It’s important to note that several coats may need to be applied quickly onto the surface for surfaces that are very porous.
