Jotun Pilot QD Primer - 1K Alkyd, fast drying, zinc phosphate, anti-chorosive primer
Jotun Pilot QD Primer is a one component oxidatively drying alkyd coating. It is a fast drying, high build, zinc phosphate pigmented product and can be used as primer or mid coat in atmospheric environments. It is also suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, aluminium and wooden substrates.
Jotun Pilot QD Primer is the ideal primer for Steel and Aluminium structures in moderate, non aggressive environments and resistant against dry heat up to 120°C. It is an anti-corrosive one component oxidatively drying alkyd coating that is a fast drying, high build, zinc phosphate pigmented product. It will dry to a flat Matt finish when fully cured.
Perfect for use on Bare Steel, Shopprimed Steel, Aluminium substrates and previously Coated Surfaces. In a Protective environment it is suitable for a wide range of industrial structures. In Marine environments it is suitable for engine room, topside, deck and superstructures.

To secure lasting adhesion to the subsequent product all surfaces shall be clean, dry and free from any contamination.

|Spray||Use airless spray.|
|Roller||May be used, but is not recommended for first coat on bare metal. Care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness.|
The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from sources of heat and ignition. Shelf life at 23 °C 48 month(s).
This product is for professional use only. The applicators and operators shall be trained, experienced and have the capability and equipment to mix/stir and apply the coatings correctly and according to Jotun's technical documentation. Applicators and operators shall use appropriate personal protection equipment when using this product. This guideline is given based on the current knowledge of the product. Any suggested deviation to suit the site conditions shall be forwarded to the responsible Jotun representative for approval before commencing the work.

Please observe the precautionary notices displayed on the container. Use under well ventilated conditions. Do not inhale spray mist. Avoid skin contact. Spillage on the skin should immediately be removed with suitable cleanser, soap and water. Eyes should be well flushed with water and medical attention sought immediately.
