Jotun Hardtop Flexi is a chemically curing aliphatic acrylic polyurethane high-build coating suitable for use as a topcoat in atmospheric conditions.
A high solids polyrethane topcoat that holds excellent wetting and adhesion properties. Superb stress and impact-resistance, with direct-to-metal protective qualities that will maintain initial Gloss level over lengthy periods of time. The product is also low VOC, and one of the only products on the market to contain anti-corrosive pigments, maximising best direct to metal performance. The hybrid speciality binder will ensure excellent flexibility, enabling the product to withstand stress and impact. Tintable to bespoke colours.
Areas of Use
Can be used as a single-coat self-priming system in atmospheric corrosivity classes C2 and C3, and can also be used as a topcoat in classes C2 - C4, and C5-I and C5-M on various primers, and as a maintenance coating on old paint surfaces. Use as a single-product system for maintenance application when both corrosion protection and topcoat performance are desired.
The strong impact-resistance means painted objects can be stacked after the short drying period.
Jotun Hardtop Flexi can be used across a wide range of industrial structures.
Marine: Container deck, Superstructure and Topside applications
Protective: Refineries, Offshore Environments, Bridges, Buildings and Power Plants
